10:00 AM – Book Reading & Signing
Begin your morning at the Nez Perce National Historical Park Visitor Center with a special presentation by Sapóoq'is Wíit'as Ciarra Greene, contributor to the newly released book, Rock Art: An American Story. Enjoy a live reading from her segment, "Through Space and Time," followed by a book signing. (Presentation is free and open to the public; books available for purchase on-site).
Private Museum & Exhibit Tour
Following the signing, step into the newly renovated Nez Perce National Historical Park Museum. You will experience a private, guided tour of the current exhibits, including the profound Wetxuuwíitin collection. This expert-led experience provides an authentic interpretation of Nimiipuu history, our sacred homelands, and the enduring presence of our people.

Guided Journey to ˀilaˀqatp’áatpa (Buffalo Eddy)
Board our transport and ride with Nimiipuu guides along the Snake River to ˀilaˀqatp’áatpa (where the light touches Earth). The route itself is alive with ancient village sites, legends, and stories shared by your guide. Once at the site, you will stand before carvings dating back thousands of years at one of the oldest known petroglyph locations in the region—an experience that invites a profound connection to both place and time.
